Terms of service

These terms apply to work carried out by Flow N Flame Ltd.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for thirty days. A quote covers the work described in it. If we open something up and find a problem nobody could have seen — a corroded pipe inside a wall, for instance — we will stop, tell you what we have found, and agree the extra cost with you before continuing. You will not receive a bill for work you did not agree to.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Where finance is used, the agreement is between you and the finance provider.

Our guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed for two years. Parts and appliances carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which on a BAXI installation we can extend to ten years. The guarantee covers our work; it does not cover damage caused by someone else working on the system afterwards, by misuse, or by a lack of the annual servicing a manufacturer’s warranty requires.

Cancellation

Let us know as early as you can. If you cancel a booked installation with less than forty-eight hours’ notice we may charge for materials already ordered specifically for your job.

Access

We need access to the property and to the appliance. If we arrive at an agreed time and cannot get in, we may charge for the visit.

Liability

We carry public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
