Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with your personal information when you contact us or we carry out work for you. Flow N Flame Ltd is the data controller.

What we collect

Your name, address, phone number and email address, and details of the work you have asked about or we have carried out. If you apply for finance, that application is handled by the finance provider and is subject to their own privacy policy.

Why we hold it

To quote for work, to carry it out, to contact you about it, to service any guarantee or warranty, and to meet our legal obligations — Gas Safe records and building-regulation notifications among them.

How long we keep it

Job records are kept for as long as any guarantee or warranty runs, and for the periods our insurers and Gas Safe registration require. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except where we have to: Gas Safe for notifiable work, a manufacturer registering your warranty, a finance provider if you apply, and our accountants. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to marketing companies.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email flownflame@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
